A long conflict-ridden history brought about the present incarnation and success of the Livestock Market Auction in Barangay Poblacion, Padre Garcia. Serving as a significant part of Garciano's Cultural and Historical identity, tourists flock every Thursday and Friday at the town to take part in the weekly cattle auction.
It has a land area of 1.7 Operating 21/7, its average weekly income ranges from Php 200,000 to 250,000 and averages monthly at Php 800 thousand to 1 million.
There is an estimated number of 300 traders that conduct business in the Livestock Auction Market , with traders coming from Marinduque, Mindoro, Romblon, Bicol Region, Pangasinan, CALABARZON, and NCR.
